Ross Donnelly

Ross Donnelly

Brand Ambassador

I’m Ross,

I’m a distance runner and an ambassador on the Asics Frontrunner UK and Ireland team.

I spent most of my mid to late teens and early 20s suffering with anxiety and depression to the point it got really bad and almost lost my life to it. I started speaking about my problems and everything I was going through on social media as an escape and I felt a real relief and weight come off my shoulders once I started sharing my story. It inspired so many others to start speaking up and that’s always been my goal. Life is tough and at times hits us so hard with struggles and problems we feel like we can’t manage but I know through exercising and talking that i can manage it. Sandra and Lisa have both helped me so much by just being ears to listen to me or just genuine conversations about life, I’m so proud they put their trust in me to be an ambassador for this unbelievable charity. My goal with this is to share my story and inspire so many others going through mental health issues that it does get better and they are not alone 💚
